Sinclair included in squad

Brian Eastick has included Plymouth Argyle loan sensation Scott Sinclair in his 18 man squad to face Holland on Tuesday 27 March.

The left winger, who will turn 18 two days before England Under-18s play at Yeovil's Huish Park, has been in scintillating form since he joined Ian Holloway's side from Premiership champions Chelsea.

He ran the length of the field against Barnet before scoring one of the goals of The FA Cup Fourth Round, then rose highest to head in his team's second goal in the 2-0 win over Derby the following round. He has also netted against Wolves in league action.

Eastick will be hoping Sinclair, whose loan deal is due to conclude on 17 March, can reproduce the same sort of form to help the young Lions overcome Holland.

Also included in the squad is Manchester City's highly rated forward Daniel Sturridge, who scored twice in last season's FA Youth Cup Final.

The nephew of former Derby striker Dean, Sturridge has made two appearances for Stuart Pearce's side this season, the most recent being the 1-0 defeat to Wigan on Saturday.

Middlesbrough midfielder Josh Walker, who made his Premiership debut as a substitute against Fulham at the end of last season, is likely to captain the squad. He is also on loan at Bournemouth.

Eastick will be hoping for an improvement on England's last outing when they lost 2-0 to France at Hartlepool in September.

Paris St Germain starlet David N'Gog scored twice that night and Holland are likely to provide just as stiff an examination.

Eastick said: "The last Dutch squad contained players from Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord as well as Arsenal, so fans at the game can expect to see two technically strong teams who both like to play attacking football."
