England v Norway
International Friendly
Vale Park, Port Vale FC
10 June 2005, 7pm

England U18s coach Dick Bate has named an 18-man squad for the friendly against Norway at Port Vale on 10 June.

The Under-18s have only played once this season, a 1-0 win over Scotland back in December, and Bate has made eight changes from the squad for that match.

Southampton winger Nathan Dyer has been rewarded with a call-up after he impressed in both legs of the Saints' FA Youth Cup Final against Ipswich Town.

Attacking midfielder James Smith, now in his second scholar year with Chelsea, receives a call-up whilst Huddersfield Town's Tom Clarke, who has made 12 League appearances for the Terriers this season, is also in the squad.

There are also call-ups for West Ham's Moses Ashikodi, Kerrea Gilbert of Arsenal, Danny Guthrie of Liverpool, Leicester City's Richard Stearman and Leeds United's Simon Walton.

The squad will meet up on Sunday 05 June ahead of the match at Vale Park, which kicks-off at 7pm on Friday 10 June.
