England Under 17 Team
UEFA Friendly Mini Tournament
Belgium, England, Portugal & Spain
25-30 October 2006
Belgium

John Peacock has named his 18-man squad for this month's UEFA Mini Friendly Tournament which takes place in Belgium.

The Head Coach has included 14 of the 18 players who won The FA Friendly International Tournament in September, where emphatic wins over the USA and Portugal, after a 2-2 draw with Turkey, sealed England's place at the top of the table.

Chelsea starlet Michael Woods, who scored three goals in the tournament victory, has been included alongside Ashley Chambers and Rhys Murphy, both of whom netted twice as England surged towards glory.

Ben Amos, Krystian Pearce, Jay Thomas and David Williams are the four players who have been called up in place of Steven Clancy, Victor Moses, James Reid and Alex Smithies.

England face a stern examination in Belgium, which starts on 25 October when they face Spain.

Two days later, Peacock's charges meet Portugal, a team who they crushed 4-0 only a month ago. That evening in Aldershot, goals from Woods, Moses, Henri Lansbury and Seth Ofori-Twumasi sealed a convincing win.

England conclude the Mini Tournament with a game against the hosts, Belgium, on 30 October.
