England U16s begin the defence of their Sky Sports Victory Shield title next month, as they kick-start the 2007 tournament by hosting Northern Ireland at Blackpool FC’s Bloomfield Road.

Taking place on Thursday 11 October, Kenny Swain’s team will be hoping to get off to a good start in Lancashire before they face their second game on home soil by playing Wales at AFC Telford’s New Bucks Head Stadium on Friday 2 November.

The Sky Sports Victory Shield is concluded when England travel north of the border to the Falkirk Stadium on Thursday 29 November where they will face Scotland.

England have won the competition for six successive seasons now, lifting the title last season after beating both Scotland and Northern Ireland and drawing with Wales.

Tickets for the games at Blackpool and Telford cost £3 in advance (£5 on the night) for adults and £1 for concessions by contacting 0870 443 1953 (option 1) for the Blackpool game or 01952 640064 for the Telford game.
