England were crowned winners of The Montaigu Tournament on Monday evening, when they beat hosts France in the Final after a tense penalty shoot-out.The two teams couldn't be separated after 80 minutes of normal time, meaning the winners would be decided after penalties.The Young Lions kept their nerve though, netting all five of their spot-kicks through skipper José Baxter, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Jonjo Shelvey, Emmanuel Frimpong (left) and Ezekiel Fryers to win the game and add a second honour for the season after lifting The Victory Shield last November.Elsewhere, Germany sealed third place in the competition after beating Ivory Coast on penalties.England: Jed Steer, Ezekiel Fryers, Emmanuel Frimpong, Angus Macdonald, Jonjo Shelvey, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Luke Freeman (Jamie Reckord, 78) José Baxter, Sam Byles, Liam Head (Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, 40) Luke Garbutt.Click here for all of the details on the Montaigu Tournament 2008, including fixtures, venues and kick-off times.
