The England U16 squad for the opening game in the Sky Sports Victory Shield has been named by coach Kenny Swain ahead of the match with Northern Ireland in Blackpool.

Following last year's success in the competition, a new pool of players attended a four day training camp in August at the National Football Centre in Burton and Swain has selected an 18 man squad for the game in Lancashire.

Many of the players included are already regulars for their club's Academy U18 sides and will be hoping to help England to a seventh successive time.
