Sammy Lee won 14 caps for England in an international career that spanned just two years.
Having scored on his debut against Greece in Salonika in November 1982, Lee was part of the side that narrowly failed to qualify for Euro '84 when Allan Simonsen's penalty at Wembley ended Bobby Robson's side's hopes.
Lee's final match saw him come on as a substitute in a friendly match away to Chile. |
