Throughout his career he has proven himself to be a confident and agile shot stopper. 

After managing to keep his form and composure during a turbulent season at Elland Road, Paul completed a long-anticipated move to Spurs in the summer of 2004.

He came into England's starting XI for the crucial World Cup qualifier in Poland and continued the fine form he had shown at the start of the season with his new club.

Has since matured into one of Europe's leading 'keepers and, having played a pivotal role in England's World Cup qualification, he now looks set to be England's number one in Germany.
