Kieron completed a big-money move to Newcastle United in July 1999, and a first senior England cap followed just two months later.
Receiving his first cap at only 20 years of age, the future looked bright for Kieron, but problems with injuries have so far denied him the chance to fulfill his huge potential as an international player.
A fully fit Kieron Dyer is a frightening prospect for any defence, and it can only be a matter of time before this pacy, penetrative midfielder with an eye for goal really has the chance to shine.
