Jonathan Spector will finally realise his childhood dream when he walks out at Wembley for the first time in his career.
The West Ham defender, who will represent the USA at this summer's Olympics in Beijing, has yearned all of his career to play at the 'Home of Football.'
At 22, and with 12 international caps, Spector has already faced some of the top sides across the world, but the former Manchester United man is now eyeing a famous victory over Fabio Capello's men on Wednesday.
"It will be a huge honour to play at Wembley but we're looking to win," said Spector.
"I'm really looking forward to it as not many players have the opportunity to play there.
"We'll approach the game in the same manner as we did for our 3-0 win against Poland. It will be a hard game, another away from home in Europe.
"England will be slightly different to Poland in the way that they play but we're excited to see how we compare to some of the top teams in the world and we'll be looking to win."
Spector is one of nine British-based players included in the American squad for the game and says the presence of such a large UK-based contingent is encouraging for the sport in the US.
"There are a number of Americans playing in the Premier League and across Europe so that shows that football is growing in the US and there is a wealth of talent there that is somewhat untapped," he added.
"It's a massive honour on every level to represent my country, especially going to the Olympics, I'm certainly honoured and humbled by the opportunity I have.
"It will be a busy summer but I'm looking forward to it."
