England Manager Fabio Capello says that with the World Cup qualifiers now less than three weeks away, the time for experimentation is over.

Having looked at a number of different options during friendlies with Switzerland, France, USA and Trinidad and Tobago before the Czech Republic are visitors to Wembley on Wednesday, Capello is now focused on the final preparations for the qualification campaign.

Capello said: "It is an important game. I hope to get what I am looking for from the players but in this moment, at the start of the season, not all the players are in perfect condition.

"It depends on form at this moment. I have to check the form of the players. But experimentation is finished now.

"(My objective) is to win the qualification games, I am focused only on that."

Capello also believes that his most important task will be to transfer the winning mentality from the club sides to the national team.

Despite that necessity, Capello says that all is not lost simply because England did not qualify for Euro 2008.

"I think if you can play and train everyday, it is easy to change the mentality in every moment during training and different work," he explained.

"I have to transfer the mentality of the clubs into the national team because I think you have to play with the same spirit that they play with for their clubs.

"But I saw some games during the qualification and they played very well with spirit and in two or three games they won. The games with Israel and Russia at Wembley.

"You have to play with this spirit and mentality. I think it's impossible to lose everything just because England didn't qualify for the European Championship, and in each of the games we have played I saw steps towards recovery."
