England Manager Fabio Capello admitted he was 'satisfied' with his team's performance in the 3-0 victory against Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday evening.

A first England goal for Gareth Barry and a Jermain Defoe brace proved enough to seal a comprehensive win in Port of Spain and following on from last week's Wembley success against the USA, Capello believes his team are on the right track.

"We are satisfied," said Capello after the game.

"In the first half we played very well.

"We scored two good goals and played some good football.

"Trinidad and Tobago had no chances, which is important.

"We had a good concentration and the players did everything that I asked of them.

"It's not easy to finish the season, come on a long trip and play in the heat, but I'm very happy with them.

"We are making progress and getting better in every game."

Capello also gave England debuts to Dean Ashton, Joe Hart, Phil Jagielka and Stephen Warnock in the game as he continues to assess his selection options for the future.

Having been with the squad for a week, it has given him chance to look at everyone closely and he was pleased with the contriubtions from the new players.

"I was happy with them," he added.

"We see them in training games, but this is different and they showed good concentration in the game as I have seen before."
