England trained in heavy snow on Monday morning as they started their preparations to face France in Paris.

All 23 players took to the training field for the first session of Fabio Capello's second match as England Manager, with Raymond Domenech's France the opponents this timearound.

Training for the first time under Capello were David Beckham, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Jonathan Woodgate, Paul Robinson, Theo Walcott and Robert Green.

England's last victory over the French came eleven years ago when an Alan Shearer goal gave the Three Lions victory in La Tournoi. In 26 meetings with France, England have won 16 and lost only six with the remaining six drawn.

The last meeting between the two sides came at Euro 2004, where Frank Lampard had given England the lead only to see Zinedine Zidane overturn the deficit to give Les Bleus a late victory.
