Frank Lampard is confident that the spirit within the England camp will give them the springboard to qualify for Euro 2008.

With five crucial qualifiers remaining this year, England have it in their hands to secure a place at Austria and Switzerland next summer and Lampard is sure that Steve McClaren will do everything to ensure they make it.

"Steve is leaving no stone unturned in trying to get us to the European Championships and to be successful there," Lampard said.

"The spirit is very good, as good as I have known it. We are very positive."

The magic of Wembley is also something that Lampard believes will act as a spur towards qualification, and with two memorable experiences there the Chelsea midfielder is keen to have more.

"Every game at Wembley is a great occasion to be involved in, but against Germany it is great to get ourselves going again with England and try and work with the qualifiers that come shortly after this game.

"They're very big games for us, we know the position we're in. We know we need to win games from here on in, and we have to be ready to do that.

"It's an amazing stadium - the home of football. It's where I grew up wanting to play, and the stadium doesn't let you down. It's superb.

"I've been fortunate enough to play there a few times and it's got that magic. I would like to be involved in some magic days there for England and Chelsea."
