Steve McClaren has named his starting eleven for Friday night's 'B' International friendly with Albania.
England fans will be delighted to see Michael Owen back in action. The Newcastle striker will pull on the Three Lions for the first time since 20 June and will play alongside Manchester United's Alan Smith, who last played for England in October 2005.
Aston Villa's Gareth Barry, who came on as a sub in England's senior team game against Spain in February, will line-up in midfield with Jermaine Jenas, David Bentley and Aaron Lennon.
At the back, Nicky Shorey's solid season Reading is rewarded with his first ever England appearance, while Spurs pairing Ledley King and Michael Dawson are in the centre. Phil Neville makes up the four.
Scott Carson, who has 25 caps at Under-21 level, will earn his second 'B' cap after coming on as a sub in last May's friendly - exactly a year ago to the day.
