| Amazing scenes in Leipzig as England draw Sweden – again! We had them in Korea and Japan, drawing 1-1.
We also face Paraguay in our opening game. Two potential classics are also in the offing with Brazil to face Australia and Argentina to face Holland!
Trinidad and Tobago complete England’s group, with a host of English-based players looking to put one over on Sven’s men. Dwight Yorke and Shaka Hislop are very familiar names to fans of English football! Meanwhile Germany v Costa Rica will open the tournament in Munich on June 9.
Looking further ahead of the group stage it is easy to see why Sven wants to top group B, as attaining the runners up spot could see them facing Germany in the Second Round of the competition.
The team that progresses from Group B could potentially face the runners-up from Group C which includes Argentina, Holland, Ivory Coast and Serbia and Montenegro, at the quarter final stage.
The holders Brazil could lie in wait for the winners of that tie in the semi-final.
