England captain David Beckham was spot on in his first training session with the England squad.

England have been boosted not only by the addition to the squad of Beckham and Michael Owen but also by the news that Ashley Cole and Peter Crouch have recovered from injuries sustained over the past few days and took part in today's training session.

Though Andy Johnson and Wes Brown missed the training session through calf and knee injuries respectively, both players are expected to be available for the match against Colombia on Tuesday.

One player who will not be available is
Sol Campbell, who went off at half-time in Saturday's 2-1 win over the USA. He will have a scan on Monday to assess the severity of the ankle problem that allowed Zat Knight to replace him and make his England debut.

Meanwhile two-goal hero Kieran Richardson has been making good progress to the hamstring problem that saw him limp off after 59 minutes of his debut match.
