England Head Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has named his squad to face Denmark in Copenhagen on 17 August.
Five Chelsea players are among the 23-man contingent that will travel out to Copenhagen for a match which offers Sven the chance to prepare his side ahead of two crucial World Cup
qualifiers in Cardiff and Belfast next month.
There are two players currently playing in The Championship included - Norwich City goalkeeper Robert Green retains his place, as does Crystal Palace striker Andrew Johnson.
The strength in depth in the centre of England's defence is highlighted by the inclusion of Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, Jamie Carragher and Matthew Upson. North London duo Sol Campbell and Ledley King are missing through injury.
There are no surprises among the midfielders, with captain David Beckham, Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard and Joe Cole of Chelsea all in the travelling party.
Tottenham Hotspur's Michael Carrick, who was so impressive in England's summer tour of the USA, also retains his place.
Owen Hargreaves, who scored in Bayern Munich's first Bundesliga game of the season, is included as are Everton recruit Phil Neville and
Chelsea new boy Shaun Wright-Phillips, who will hope to add to his four caps.
Joining Johnson in England's forward line are Real Madrid's Michael Owen, Jermain Defoe of Tottenham Hotspur, who scored at Fratton Park, and Wayne Rooney who also netted his first Premiership goal of the season against Everton.
"We have a very big couple of months ahead of us and we have an important job to do to qualify for the World Cup finals," Sven told TheFA.com on naming his squad.
"This match against Denmark is the perfect preparation and I'm very much looking forward to the start of what I hope is going to be a very significant season for the England team."
