Former Liverpool and England captain Hughes died last week aged 57 and a celebration of his life will take place at his funeral in Sheffield today.

As a mark of respect for the man who represented his country 62 times, 23 as skipper, the Three Lions will wear armbands when they take on Spain at the Bernabeu this evening.

It will also provide an opportunity to remember Keith Weller, another former England star, who passed away at the weekend aged 58.

As a Leicester City forward, Weller, who also played for Spurs, Millwall and Chelsea, earned four England caps in 1974.
