Spain v England
International Friendly
Estádio Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid
17 November 2004, 8.45 (GMT)
The kick-off time for England's friendly away to Spain on 17 November has been confirmed as 9.45 local time, 8.45pm UK time.
England take on Spainfor the first time since Sven's first match in charge when the Three Lions won 3-0 at Villa Park.
The match will be the first time England have played in Real Madrid's Estádio Santiago Bernabéu since Gary Lineker, then of Barcelona, scored all four goals in a 4-2 win in February 1987.
Meanwhile England captain David Beckham hopes to be back in action in time to play in Real's match against Albacete on 14 November. Should he make that date, he would be fit in time to play in the Spain match.
"I'm aiming to play against Albacete, which is on the Sunday before England's friendly in Spain on the Wednesday," said Beckham.
"It's not a nice injury to have and I can't wait to get playing now."
Speaking on BBC Radio Five Live, Beckham said: "It's an injury that you can enjoy for a couple of weeks, getting the rest in.
"But after that it is so frustrating. My broken ribs have prevented me from going to the gym; I can't run, I can't walk.
"A couple of days ago I felt great and tried running, but for the last two or three days I've not been able to move.
"I just want to get playing again. But we'll have to see how it goes."
Sven will name his England squad for the match here on TheFA.com on the evening of Saturday 13 November.
