England's Gary Neville could be struggling to make next month's World Cup matches.
Neville injury blow
Monday, 13 September 2004.
England defender Gary Neville has been ruled out of action for four weeks with a hairline fracture of the kneecap.
Neville picked up the knock whilst playing for England in their 2-1 win over Poland on last week's World Cup qualifier in Chorzow.
The injury comes as a blow to Sven-Goran Eriksson with two more important qualification matches coming up next month.
Neville has won 70 caps for England but limped off after a first half challenge in the game on Wednesday and is now a doubt for the games against Wales on 09 October and Azerbaijan four days later.
