England's first training session ahead of Saturday's World Cup qualifier took place at Manchester United's Carrington training ground this afternoon.
22 members of Sven's squad, everyone except Michael Owen, trained while the Real Madrid striker received treatment on the problem he picked up at the weekend.
Owen has had a scan on the injury today and medical staff are awaiting results before England's match against Wales at Old Trafford this weekend.
Michael will be one of four members of the squad to appear at this evening's press conference. Skipper David Beckham, Manchester United's Gary Neville and Tottenham 'keeper Paul Robinson will also be present.
