Sven-Goran Eriksson received a welcome boost this afternoon with the news that Michael Owen is expected to train with the England squad tomorrow.
Everyone except Owen trained this morning while the Real Madrid striker received treatment on the problem he picked up at the weekend.
Owen has had a scan on the injury on Tuesday and this morning he had a light jog around the outskirts of the pitch as preparations continue ahead of England's match against Wales at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The FA's Head of Media Relations Adrian Bevington told TheFA.com: "Michael joined in with the second part of today's training session and we expect him to participate in full with the rest of the squad tomorrow."
