The remainder of the team is unchanged from the side who started in Manchester on Saturday, with the 21-year-old replacing injured captain David Beckham.

Jenas will win his eight cap, and his first in a competitive international, since first pulling on an England shirt against Australia at Upton Park last year.

Michael Owen gets the captain's armband in the absence of his Real Madrid colleague.  It'll be Michael's seventh time leading his country out to battle, the last time was in June 2003 when Sven's men beat Slovakia 2-1 in Middlesbrough and Owen scored twice.

High winds in Baku put the game in doubt earlier today. However, a short while ago, referee Hamer from Luxembourg gave the match the go-ahead after inspecting the conditions around the Tofik Bakhramov stadium.

The match kicks off in Azerbaijan at 9.30pm local time, 5.30pm BST.
