England have been warned to watch out for Jacek Krzynowek as they attempt to get their World Cup qualification back on track against Poland.
Sven-Goran Eriksson's side are looking for a win in Chorzow on Wednesday after being pegged back for a 2-2 draw in their opening group game against Austria on Saturday.
Poland, in contrast, got off to the best possible start with a 3-0 win over Northern Ireland and manager Pawel Janas was quick to highlight the importance of midfielder Krzynowek who netted the third goal in Belfast.
"Jacek Krzynowek (left) has been one of our best players and I am even more impressed with him now because he had only one day of training before the Northern Ireland game," Janas explained.
"Unfortunately, his father died in the build up to the game, but he still played very well.
"I think he can build on that performance in our first game and continue to prove that he is one of our key players."
Other results in the group ensured that Poland are sitting clear at the top of the table after the opening round of matches, boosting their hopes of qualifying for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Janas (left) knows there is still a long way to go, but is already predicting it will be a three-horse race for the top two spots.
"We want to finish first, but there are still nine games to go. I think if we want to finish at least second then we have to finish above Wales, but I think it will essentially be between them, England and ourselves.
"We will watch England's game against Austria before we play them on Wednesday and will plan our tactics from that.
"But the game against Northern Ireland was good for us because it gave us good practice on what it is like to come up against British footballers."
