The Wales talisman spoke about the mood in the Welsh camp before Mark Hughes' men headed to Old Trafford to get themselves acquainted with the pitch.

"It's quite relaxed here," he said.

"Tonight, there might be one or two nerves creeping in with players anticipating the game.

"We've been given a lot of respect. Players like Ryan Giggs, Gary Speed and Craig Bellamy command respect and people would be foolish not to respect that type of talent.

"But we very much respect England, too."

Hartson added: "We know their strengths and we'll try and cause them problems. We'll watch a few videos of them, but we know a lot about their players anyway.

"I'm really looking forward to it, but all of the lads can't wait. We're really excited about the match.

"These are the games you want to play."
