Wales will have almost a whole squad of Premiership players on show at Old Trafford on Saturday as they aim to upset Sven-Goran Eriksson's men.
Mark Hughes' side have got off to a slow start in their World Cup qualifying campaign following draws against Azerbaijan and Northern Ireland.
But Wales will be fired up for the Manchester clash and have several players who are capable of causing a problem for England.
John Hartson is one man likely to pose a threat to England’s rear-guard at the weekend.
The Celtic striker is in good form having struck six goals in eight appearances for his club this season. He also found the net for Wales in their previous World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland last month.
Manchester United ace Ryan Giggs will be desperate to impress on his home turf. The tricky winger, who has made a consistent start to the season, has a key role to play for Wales as they bid to beat England.
On the opposite wing, Craig Bellamy has struggled to rediscover his goalscoring form, netting just once for Newcastle so far this term.
Wales will of course be without combative midfielder Robbie Savage, the former Manchester United junior missing out on a chance to play at Old Trafford after being sent-off against Northern Ireland.
Mark Pembridge is tipped to take over from Savage. The 33-year-old has struggled to hold down a place in the Fulham side, but he has a wealth of international experience with 51 caps.
First-choice goalkeeper Paul Jones has experienced a difficult start to the season with Wolves. The 37-year-old managed to keep just one clean sheet in his side’s opening ten league games and was dropped by manager Dave Jones for the game against West Ham last weekend.
West Brom’s £3million forward Robert Earnshaw is a useful player to have on the substitutes bench.
The 23-year-old is waiting for his first Premiership goal, but his international record is very impressive. He scored the other equaliser against Northern Ireland, taking his tally to seven goals in 12 appearances for his country.
