The FA today confirmed the time of the match on Saturday 8 October, which could see Sven's men take a step nearer Germany next summer.

Currently sitting in second place in Group 6, the Three Lions have a game in hand over leaders Poland, who they meet in Manchester for the final qualifier at 7.45pm on 12 October.

England's first game of this campaign was away in Austria. After taking a two-goal lead through Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard, the home side fought back to level with two in three minutes.

Tickets for both remaining home matches go on public sale on 25 August.
