| World Cup Group 2 Qualifier Wembley Stadium Saturday 3 June 1989 In the build-up to England final qualifier on Wednesday, we've got highlights of England's 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Poland at Wembley in June 1989.
Barcelona striker Gary Lineker gave the Three Lions the lead with his 28th international goal midway through the first half, tucking away John Barnes' through ball.
Poland withheld to keep it at one until twenty minutes from time when Barnes himself made it 2-0. Gary Stevens, linking up well with Chris Waddle on the right, clipped over a cross to the far post where the Liverpool man arrived to volley home.
Neil Webb rounded off the scoring, tucking away a simple finish from eight yards after David Rocastle had caused confusion in the Poles' box.
The win edged England closer to Italy and away draws with Sweden and Poland in their last two games secured a passage for Bobby Robson's side to the 1990 World Cup.
But that's enough talk, click the links above, complete the form and sit back and watch the action from a packed Wembley stadium for free...
