Sven-Goran Eriksson has hinted that Ledley King and Shaun Wright-Phillips will both be handed a starting place against Poland tomorrow night.

The pair are set to step into the boots of injured midfielder Steven Gerrard, and England Captain David Beckham - while Paul Robinson and Luke Young are both expected to be fit in time for the final World Cup Qualifier.

Sven also confirmed that Michael Owen will lead the side out at Old Trafford tomorrow evening and insists the match is very important to the side, despite already securing a place at Germany 2006.

"We have to have another central midfielder and of course Ledley King is a big choice there, I think he came on well on Saturday," said Sven.

"On outside right we have to play another player, and the most natural is possibly Shaun Wright-Phillips.

"That is what we have thought about, but we will work on the pitch today and then we will see. Michael Owen will be captain.

"It's important to play well tomorrow, as we have not done that in the first three games this season. It was a big step to win on Saturday and we need to play better tomorrow," he added.

"I know we have only five games before the World Cup starts, and so every match is important for us."

Victory over Poland will ensure England finish top of Group Six, but Sven knows it will not be easy.

He added: "We know Poland are a very good team and I'm sure it will be a very good match."
