John Terry is out of England's two vital World Cup qualifiers with a knee injury.
The Chelsea captain picked up the injury during the Blues 2-0 victory at Tottenham on Saturday.
Terry met up with the rest of the England squad in Hertfordshire today ahead of the matches against Wales on Saturday and Northern Ireland next Wednesday.
However, after being checked over by England medical staff, the 24-year-old was sent back to Stamford Bridge to begin treatment and is ruled out of the trips to Cardiff and Belfast.
Meanwhile, in training at Arsenal's London Colney base today, all of Sven's squad apart from David Beckham, Chris Kirkland, Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen were in action.
