All players were involved apart from Nicky Butt, who is having his hamstring assessed by England's medical staff, and Real Madrid 'Galacticos' David Beckham and Michael Owen, who are flying back to the UK after Madrid's friendly fixture this evening.

The Madrid duo will be available for all forthcoming training sessions and the time of their arrival falls into line with FIFA regulations.

Alan Smith, Gary Neville and Owen Hargreaves took part in a warm down session having arrived just yesterday.

The good news of the day was the appearance in full training of Shaun Wright-Phillips who has been suffering with a back problem.

The England squad leave their Hertfordshire training camp on Thursday to fly to Vienna, and face Hans Krankl's Austria on Saturday evening.

They take on Poland in Chorzow on 8 September, in the second match of their double-header.
