Exclusive: England Coach Sven Goran Eriksson has named a 25-man squad ahead of the two crucial Euro 2004 qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Turkey, including a first call-up for Chelsea defender John Terry.
Terry, has been a rock at the back for Chelsea's Champions League charge, and rounds off a fine weekend with a shout from Sven. The 22-year old hit the Blues second in their 5-0 drubbing of Manchester City on Saturday and fellow scorer Frank Lampard also joins him in the squad.
Everton's Wayne Rooney, who made his debut against Australia, also gets the nod following his impressive strike at Highbury this afternoon. While former Toffee Francis Jeffers, who scored England's last goal against the Aussies, will join up with Sven's men once more.
All three scorers for Liverpool at Anfield earlier in the day, Michael Owen, Danny Murphy and Steven Gerrard are in with team mate Emile Heskey.
Newcastle United trio Jonathan Woodgate, Kieron Dyer and Jermaine Jenas are also selected.
In goal Sven has called up David James, Paul Robinson and Richard Wright.
