England Manager Fabio Capello knows Bulgaria will provide his side with a stern test in Sofia on Friday.

The Three Lions are level on points with Montenegro, but currently top Group G on goal difference ahead of Friday's clash.

Meanwhile, Bulgaria are second-bottom of the group, six points behind England and were beaten 4-0 by Capello's side at Wembley in September.

But the Italian has warned his side to expect a difficult game against Lothar Matthaus' side.

"The game tomorrow is a very important one," he said. "And we are playing against a side who are playing well at the moment.

"I watched the game against Montenegro (1-1 draw in June) and they played really well.

"It is very important because we have the same points as Montenegro. Every game we play will be very important."

The England Manager also thinks his side could thrive in Sofia, despite playing away from Wembley.

"Usually when we play at home, the visiting team have played counter-attacking football and we have found it difficult to play against these teams," added Capello.

"But away, we can play in more space and we have fast players so that's the reason why we sometimes play better away than at home."
