Glen Johnson never anticipated The Three Lions winning seven out of seven.
Fabio Capello's resurgent England made it a magnificent seven when they thumped Andorra 6-0 on Wednesday night - and Glen Johnson can't believe it.
The Three Lions' 6-0 win against Andorra means one more win will be enough to make it to the World Cup next summer and Portsmouth full-back Johnson, who was excellent in the rout by creating three goals, said he was surprised to see England doing so well.
"I wouldn't have believed it if you said we would win seven World Cup qualifiers in a row at the start of our campaign," he said.
"But the tempo is good and the lads have worked really hard."
Confidence is high in the England camp and Johnson reckons results on the pitch is improving the atmosphere in the dressing room.
"There is a fantastic mood at the moment, morale could not be any higher. We have showed that with how confidently we played," he added.
