England will be buoyed by big Wembley crowd on Friday night

England's FIFA World Cup Qualifier with San Marino at Wembley is now officially sold out.

Roy Hodgson's men began qualification for Brazil 2014 with a 5-0 win away to Moldova followed by a draw with Ukraine, and will go into their third match in front of a full house on Friday evening.

The match will see the largest family section at Wembley since the stadium opened in 2007, with more than 22,000 of the entire crowd being taken up by families.

Additionally London 2012 Olympic "Games Makers" have again been offered tickets at the promotional price of £20.12, with 8,000 volunteers taking up this offer.

With an expected crowd of 20,000 for the England Under-21s European Championship playoff against Serbia at Carrow Road on Friday, there will be more than 100,000 fans watching the Three Lions in action at the end of the week.

England Manager Hodgson said: "I'd like to thank the supporters once again on behalf of the England team for your wonderful support.

"This is only my third match in charge at Wembley but I know that it is set to be another huge crowd and that is a great tribute to the magnificent support the national team enjoys in this country, it is something I am proud to be part of, and certainly not something anyone takes for granted.

"It has a terrific impact on players to have a passionate home support turning out and backing them all the way, which hopefully can help us along this qualification campaign."

The match comes at the end of a momentous week for English football, with the opening of the new national football centre St. George’s Park by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Tuesday.

The visit of San Marino is the last home fixture of 2012, and next year promises more to celebrate as The FA reaches its 150th anniversary.
