Michael Owen says he'll never give up on England hopes
Michael Owen insists he would "never" give up hope of an England recall.
Stoke striker Owen has not played for the Three Lions for four-and-a-half years.
But the man who is England's fifth top scorer with 40 goals from 89 caps had no intention of announcing his international retirement.
He said: "I'd never do that, really, but I certainly don't go to bed thinking I'm going to be playing for England again.
"It would mean that I would need to get back on the pitch and rediscover my deadly goalscoring touch and everything else."
