England's Mr Nice Guy shows his ruthless side.
Gary Lineker is widely acknowledged as one of England’s greatest ever goalscorers, bagging 48 goals in
80 appearances for the Three Lions.
He’s also seen as one of the game’s gentlemen, having never been cautioned or sent off in his career.
But football’s Mr Nice Guy had a ruthless streak in front of goal, no better demonstrated than when he picked up the Golden Shoe Award at the 1986 World Cup, after scoring six goals in England’s five games.
He remains the only Englishman to have won the award.
