Exclusive: TheFA.com brings you all the injury news from inside the England camp ahead of Wednesday's crucial match-up with Slovakia.

England defender Matthew Upson, who sustained a slight injury in his full-debut against Serbia and Montenegro on Tuesday night, is expected back in training over the weekend. However, Trevor Sinclair, who missed Tuesday's friendly with an injury of his own, picked-up in training last week, will not be back with the squad and therefore misses the trip to Middlesbrough.

The FA's Head of Media Relations Adrian Bevington, told TheFA.com: "Matthew has been receiving treatment over the last two days since picking up a dead-leg in the match against Serbia and Meontenegro.

"Physio Gary Lewin expects him to be able to train with the squad on Saturday and, if this is not the case, definitely by Sunday."

He added: "Trevor Sinclair will not rejoin the squad tomorrow, he's still a few days away from recovery and, having not trained since picking up his dead-leg in La Manga, he would not be fit until the early part of next week so Wednesday's match comes just too early for him."

The rest of the 23-man squad is expected to train tomorrow.
