Tickets for England's final game of the season, the Euro 2004 qualifier against Slovakia, have sold out in record time.It took fans just 53 minutes to snap up nearly 24,000 tickets, the quickest ever sale, after the hotline opened at 10.00am this morning for England's fifth match in Group 7, to be staged at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium on Wednesday 11th June.
"Clearly this shows the huge attraction of the England team," said Adrian Bevington, The FA's Head of Media Relations, speaking to TheFA.com this morning.
"It's the first time for almost 70 years that the national team has played in Middlesbrough and we're sure everybody who's been fortunate enough to secure a ticket will have a wonderful evening."
