Regions Cup drawThursday, 23 March 2006.
The draw for the Preliminary and Intermediary Rounds of the UEFA Regions Cup 2006/2007 took place at UEFA’s offices in Switzerland last week.
The draw will send the winners of The FA National League System Cup to the Czech Republic later this year. England’s representatives were drawn in Group 4 together with the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the winners of the Preliminary Round Central/West Group.
Hopefully this will prove an added incentive to The FA National League System Cup’s semi finalists: Cambridgeshire County, Guernsey Priaulx, Isle of Man and Kent County Leagues as they prepare for their ties next weekend.
The draw provides the Kent County League in particular with the opportunity to gain revenge against the Czech Republic for a 4-1 defeat in the 2002/2003 Regions Cup match played in Estonia.
