Four Nations Tournament
Middleton FC
28 May 2005
England’s National Game XI overcame Scotland 3-2 at Midleton FC to lift the Four Nations Tournament trophy.
England’s goals came from Adam Stansfield, Scott Kerr and a Dean Sinclair penalty.
In a much improved performance, Paul Fairclough’s side capped a fine week in Ireland by winning all three games in the Tournament, the first time that this has been achieved.
It also rounded off a fine season for Fairclough who, earlier in the week was named the Non League Paper Manager of the Year, this of course to add to his Conference Championship.
