Aaron's Profile
A lightning quick winger, Lennon became the youngest Premier League player in history when he came off the bench for his former club Leeds against Tottenham, aged just 16 years and 129 days.
Lennon continued to impress at Elland Road, winning the club’s Young Player of the Year award before he moved to Tottenham in July 2005.
Diminutive and with a bag full of tricks, a number of eye-catching displays on the right flank during his debut season at White Hart Lane endeared him to Spurs fans.
It was not long before England supporters had taken him to their hearts. Lennon was called-up into the England World Cup squad and he made his debut against Jamaica at Old Trafford in June 2006.
