England got their European U19 Championship qualifying campaign off to the perfect start, with a 3-1 victory over Finland.

Last season's European Finalists took the lead after just five minutes through Aston Villa forward, Nathan Delfouneso, with his eighth goal in just 16 U19 matches.

Jacob Mellis doubled this lead on 16 minutes with his first U19 goal and although Roope Riski pulled a goal back for the Finns just after the half-hour mark, Dean Parrett's injury-time strike sealed the three points.

Noel Blake's side now face the hosts on Sunday.
