England U18 Head Coach Brian Eastick has named his squad for the forthcoming friendly with Austria.

Eastick has selected 18 players for the clash which will take place at Hartlepool's Victoria Ground on Wednesday 16 April, kicking off at 7pm.

Manchester United pair Daniel Welbeck and Daniel Drinkwater have been included after scoring the goals the last time the U18s turned out.

Welbeck put England ahead against Ghana in November before his United team-mate sealed the win with a fine strike eight minutes from time.

Daniel Gosling was another who impressed that evening and has since moved from Plymouth Argyle to Everton. The holding midfielder will be out to catch the eye at Hartlepool.

A number of last year's England U17 squad that reached the World Cup quarter-finals in South Korea have been called up by Eastick.

West Ham defender Jordan Spence (pictured) was captain for that trip, scoring memorably against Brazil, while Crystal Palace striker Victor Moses wowed crowds in the Far East with both his goals and his somersault celebrations.

Rhys Murphy was another on the goal trail during that competition and he and Arsenal team-mates Gavin Hoyte and Jay Thomas are also included.
