England played their second game in two days on Sunday afternoon, when they comprehensively beat Ukraine in the Algarve Tournament, ahead of Tuesday's final match with hosts Portugal.

After drawing 1-1 with France on Saturday, John Peacock's team were looking to get their first win of the competition and got off to an ideal start to the game when Luke Garbutt stroked them ahead from the penalty spot just before the half hour mark.

They added to their advantage shortly into the second half when John Cofie netted in the 54th minute before Saido Berahino completed the scoring with a 75th minute goal.

The U17s will complete the tournament, when they take on Portugal at the Parque Desportivo de Nora, in Ferreiras.
