A talented and composed player with great versatility, Steph made great strides with Sunderland in her younger years and that has seen her recognised at international level.
After making it into the senior squad that travelled to Germany in October 2006, Steph followed that up with a stirring performance for the Under-21s against France in November. Steph then made her full debut for England against Scotland in March 2007, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 victory.
She now plays her club football with Arsenal Ladies.
