Biography

Whilst it may be his name that forms most of the headlines, the player himself has quietly gone about establishing himself as a valuable squad member for both country and club.

Highly regarded by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who has already used him in the Champions League, Cruise has also become an important player for England since first featuring for the U16s back in 2006.

Cruise's versatility is particularly useful, being able to feature anywhere down the left hand side or in central midfield and his ability to pass the ball and keep possession have proved to be instrumental in his international appearances so far.
