Striker Pat Bamford was first called up to the England squad for the U18 game with Poland at Wycombe Wanderers in late 2010 after showing good form with hometown club Nottingham Forest at both Academy and reserve level.
Capable of playing as an out and out striker or on the left-wing, Pat had been with Forest since he was eight but in January 2012, Chelsea swooped to sign him and it wasn't long after that before he celebrated his first goal for England, for the U19s against Czech Republic at Leyton Orient's Brisbane Road.
