Meanwhile, Cardiff defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 to set up a last eight clash with holders Sunderland. 2011 winners Barnet await the victors of the Portsmouth-Manchester City tie and Wolves, Blackburn, Coventry and Aston Villa will all be vying to fill the last two spots in the quarters.
